Hi, I'm Svava Kim.
Originally I am from Germany and I've lived in Belgium, France, Italy and Switzerland, and now I am in the United Kingdom. I love travelling in Europe and the World and meeting people. I’ve had a huge fascination for romanic languages since my childhood and I did my first family exchange stay in Italy and France before I went to university. In 1999 I’ve obtained a Master qualification in France and in 2008 a PhD qualification in Switzerland.

in a nutshell
In 2012, I obtained the P.T.T.L.S. qualification (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector). Since then, I have been teaching private students German both online and in face-to-face lessons. Since 2013, I have also been teaching groups in face-to-face lessons. In 2014, I began teaching Italian to groups and private students.
In 2018, I completed a full-time training programme and obtained the ‘Professional Graduate Certificate in Post-Compulsory Education’ (PGCE) and I have started to work on two websites with Joomla. In 2019, I began teaching French to groups and private students. And in 2021, I’ve designed my own website in Joomla.
As happened to many of us, in June 2022, I’ve become chronically ill because of the Covid-19 virus. My energies have been very low since and you need to understand that I can’t work as much as I wished I could.
In 2026, I’ve updated and rebuilt my website in Joomla.
